Today, at 3.40 PM West Indonesian Time, VIRON signs and MOU with PLN (National Electricity Company). The MOU highlights that Viron will develop the 10 MW Wind Farm Project, and PLN will purchase the produced electricity.
PLN today finished performing a necessary survey at the targeted location for Viron’s Wind Farm Project. PLN satisfied and convinced that the site would be feasible for the project.
Tonight the PLN and Viron Management had a brief meeting prior in Sukabumi, discussing mostly regarding the technical issues for the site survey which will undergo tomorrow.
Prominent Wind turbine factories which is based in China shows a great deal interest in Viron Wind Farm Project. They will send their representative to see the location sometime this February.
PLN is planning to undergo a feasibility survey on the proposed wind farm location. The survey will be done on 17th of February. This survey is one of the necessary means to be done prior to PPA signing.
PLN (The Electricity State Owned Company) was ready to purchase any electricity generated from the wind farm. This was to suffice the rapidly increasing electrification demands in West Java province.
The local administration of the Viron’s land of discovery had granted licenses and permits for the development of 50MW Wind Farm Project. The administration even ordered Viron Energy to develop the project as soon as possible. They hinted that the project would stimulate the local economy and boost local inhabitants’ income and welfare.
The local administration in the area of discovery showed great enthusiasms in the 50MW Wind Farm Project initiated by Viron Energy. The administration had a great hope that it will boost the local economic development and growth.
Viron Energy has decided to develop a minimal 50MW Wind Farm installation at the area of discovery.
